Hilton Hawaiian Village
Our last day in O’ahu Hawaii, for the most part, was spent in air travel between the islands of O’ahu and Maui. Prior to our departure we took a photo tour around Hilton’s Hawaiian Village resort and watched the surfers from the southern balcony of our hotel room. The check in area does not have any doors or windows; an unusual sensation coming from Chicago.
Our resort complex is named the Rainbow Tower after the eastern wall of mosaic tile reported to be the largest panel of mosaic tile in the world. The colored tiles look to have the colors of the rainbow and I hope the pictures are a reasonable representation.
The ambiance around the complex has a dreamland feeling about it with a fragrance and mood not experienced at any other place. Click here for the slideshow.
